Zia DadisBranding, Advertising, Editorial
Hello, my name is Zia Dadis and I create to help people build and develop lasting relationships — be it with design, illustration, photography, videography, writing or social media, my driving force is always to help people find a way to make a true and honest connection, and start there.
What are your favourite typefaces?
I don't really have a favourite typeface. I think every typeface has its purpose at some point in time and for that, I choose not to discriminate.
How would you describe your style?
Minimal with a hint of crazy.
Who are your role models?
My grandma has always been a strong voice of resilience, determination and tough love so I'd say she's one of my biggest inspiration.
What else are you interested in outside graphic design?
Songwriting, Singing, Performing, Videography, Illustration, Photography, Reading and Writing.
What do you get up to outside of TAFE?
I work as a part-time cashier and waitstaff at this incredible and amazing yet highly affordable Chinese restaurant in William Street called Bambamboo. You just have to try their food to understand what I'm saying. I also try to learn and explore all my interests. I love taking photos and documenting my experiences. Finally, I manage social media accounts while I try to figure out what's wrong with my own. LOL..
What are most proud of accomplishing during your time at TAFE?
It's so hard to be proud of something you know you can always improve on, but during my time at TAFE, I'm quite proud of the resilience I've shown despite all the personal dilemmas I had to go through.
I love all colours. Whatchutawkinbout?
