Arvin SeilerPackaging, Branding, Typography & Illustration
I am a designer based in Perth who has a keen interest in aesthetic design, and enjoy working with colour, typography, posters and packaging design.
While I am currently focused on refining my design and illustration techniques, I have also started to freelance locally. I have completed work for a number of satisfied clients, and I am anticipating more to come. I draw inspiration from other creatives, mechanical design, music and my environments.
What inspired you to become a graphic designer?
I've always been artistic and want to get that out into the world and hopefully make it look a bit nicer.
What are your favourite typefaces (and why)?
Not yet sick of Helvetica, though I know that day is coming. Also Gravity.
How would you describe your style?
Colourful, bold, vector, interesting.
What else are you interested in outside graphic design?
4x4ing, metal, electric guitar, fitness, beer.
"The life of a designer is a life of fight: fight against the ugliness. Just like a doctor fights against disease. For us, the visual disease is what we have around, and what we try to do is cure it somehow with design" — Massimo Vignelli
